A STORY
My brain enjoys travelling down paths of creative pursuits, and words are my wheelhouse. Whether it's writing guides for the neatest things to do, eat and see across the motu, creating tramping pack-friendly recipes (you best be on board with lugging fresh veg over rivers and up valleys) or sharing stories of resilient, vibrant wāhine, I'm the most at ease and in the flow when weaving words together to form a story for others' reading pleasure.
Not entirely unrelated but outwardly irrelevant info: I have a degree in architecture, a certificate in carpentry construction trade skills, walked the Routeburn 20+ times in one summer as a guide, spend far more hours in the kitchen than the average person, and love being outside, far from civilisation and moving at pace; mountain biking, skiing, climbing and (ejecting myself from) cold water swimming.
